Exotic Indian Cooking Classes are conducted by us, Hema and Roopa. Originally from India, we now live in Sydney, Australia. Both of us, besides being good friends, share a passion for cooking.
Living outside India means that, when we crave for a certain dish, we have to cook it up ourselves. The good part about it is that, both of us have tried and successfully produced dishes requiring skill, even our mothers would just buy rather than make these dishes.
We have collected recipes from our mothers, grandmothers, mothers-in-law, aunts, friends' mums and have even managed to get closely guarded recipes that have been handed down for generations.
The idea for Exotic Indian Cooking Classes came after several friends of ours asked us not only for recipes but also to teach them how to cook Indian dishes.
Our classes begin with a welcome drink and a discussion on Indian spices. We will guide you through the step by step process on creating delicious, easy Indian meals that you will surely impress your friends and family with. Contrary to popular belief, Indian food cooked in the proper way is good for you. You’ll want to make these dishes over and over again.
Included in the price are all ingredients, equipment, recipes for all dishes and a sit down lunch/dinner at the end of the class.
All classes are tailored to suit the level of cooking you are comfortable with.
We also offer to conduct the classes in the comfort of your own home. Please contact us for details and to book your class.
Contact us also for gift vouchers and seasonal promotions available at various times throughout the year.
